Ethiopia is a traditional market for Chinese companies to carry out contracting engineering business. Localized management is of great significance for the economic and trade cooperation between China and Ethiopia, and for the long-term, healthy, and sustainable development of Chinese enterprises in Ethiopia.
Looking from the urban area of ADAMA in central Ethiopia, a row of exhaust fans stand on the mountain corridor in the suburbs, dancing in the wind - this is the ADAMA wind farm in Ethiopia.

The Adama Phase II Wind Power EPC Project in Ethiopia, carried by Winsky Logistics, is located in central Ethiopia, 95 kilometers away from the capital Addis Ababa. The wind farm project installs 102 units with a single unit capacity of 1500 kilowatts and a total installed capacity of 153000 kilowatts. The first batch of 34 units will generate electricity for 12 months, with a total construction period of 18 months. The construction content of the ADAMA Phase II wind power EPC project carried by Winsky Logistics includes: booster station construction engineering, booster station, 33 kV collection line installation engineering, 230 kV transmission line engineering, road engineering, wind turbine hoisting engineering, installation site engineering, wind turbine foundation and box transformer foundation engineering, as well as wind farm equipment operation and maintenance management before all projects enter the warranty period (excluding wind turbines).
The ADAMA Phase II wind power EPC project carried by Winsky Logistics will introduce Chinese wind power generation technology, wind power construction technology, and power grid access inspection standards, driving the transfer of Chinese wind power manufacturing capacity, improving the local socio-economic landscape, and helping the Ethiopian government gradually establish and form the Ethiopian national wind power industry.
The project began on-site inspection on April 23, 2013, and construction began in just over 40 days.
From the date of project lifting, it took 5 years and 10 months. On August 31, 2017, the ADAMA project successfully passed the final acceptance of the project owner - Ethiopian Power Company, and the project handover was carried out.
The ADAMA wind farm carried by Winsky Logistics is not only the first cooperation project between China and Egypt in the field of wind power, but also the first wind power project in Ethiopia. Winsky Logistics, together with China Overseas Group, successfully achieved an important milestone in the energy cooperation between China and Egypt.
Carrying our mission and fulfilling our expectations, Winsky Logistics will continue to aim to create value for our customers and strive to become an industry benchmark and a century old store.
